PIB Supports 17 Educational Establishments Throughout the Country’s Governorates

As part of its Sustainable Social Responsibility Program, the Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) provided support to 17 educational establishments in various Governorates.

PIB contributed to providing necessary education supplies, devices, and tools, whereby the Bank’s representatives visited the beneficiary educational establishments, noted their needs, and discussed means for fostering cooperation with their administrative bodies to enhance their educational services.

In Jerusalem, the Bank supported Dar Al-Fatat Al Laje’ah Association School, Reyad Al Aqsa Islamic Schools, and Al Riayah School for Persons with Special Needs to enhance their resilience and enable them to continue providing their excellent educational services to their students.

In the Governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the Bank contributed to supporting the Hashemite High School for Boys, Al-Bireh Elementary Mixed School, and Birham and Jibia Secondary Mixed School.

In Tulkarm, the Bank provided support to Al Hajja Nazmiya Dawood School for Boys, Atil Elementary School for Boys, Abdul Majeed Tayeh Elementary School for Boys, Fandaqumiya School for Boys in Jenin, and the Quran Memorization Center affiliated to the Zakat Committee in the Governorate of Nablus.

In the Governorate of Hebron, the Bank supported Palestine Polytechnic University, Imreish Secondary School for Girls, Sakina Secondary School for Girls, Al Majd Secondary School for Boys in Idhna, and Al Adaisseh Elementary School in Si'ir.

Furthermore, the Bank offered its support to Prince Nayef Elementary School in contribution to fostering its prospects through educational tools and means.

PIB General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, stated that these contributions fall within the scope of the continuous support offered by the Bank to the educational sector as part of its Sustainable Social Responsibility Program that has benefited dozens of educational establishments since the beginning of 2022.

He added: “The Bank gives utmost importance to supporting the educational sector and allocates a major part of its annual Sustainable Social Responsibility program to supporting this sector, as a vital and essential sector for achieving sustainable development.”

Al-Sadi noted that supporting the educational sector encompasses various fields, including developing the educational establishments infrastructure, building and renovating classrooms, and providing educational tools and means. PIB is also keen on supporting scientific research, namely the National Workshop that was recently organized by the Bank in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and featured the participation of dozens of researchers and representatives from participating organizations.
