Palestine Islamic Bank Supports Dar al-Kouthar Society for Elderly Care and Special Needs
As part of its sustainable social responsibility program, Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) supported Dar al-Kouthar Society for Elderly Care and Special Needs in Anabta, Tukarm governorate.
Khitam Abu Aita, PIB’s North District Manager, met with Sawsan Abdel-Halim, al- Kouthar Society’s Manager, at the headquarters of the Society in Anabta. The meeting was attended by members of the Society’s administrative board and PIB’s branch Manager in Tulkarm, Ammar Yasin. The delegate was briefed on the work progress and the social, health, and recreational services provided by the Society.
Society’s Manager commended the importance of PIB’s support in implementing planned activities, stressing the need for concerted efforts to support societies that care for the elderly and special needs to help them develop their activities and expand their beneficiary base.
“Caring for Society’s residents requires financial and human resources, which cannot be provided without the support of society and various institutions, upon which we have great expectations,” she added.
On his part, Imad al-Sadi, General Manager of PIB, stated that the Bank is keen on helping institutions that support groups in need of care, as part of its social responsibility program, due to the role of these institutions in representing and defending the right of these groups.
Al-Sadi declared that the Bank annually supports dozens of institutions that care for the elderly, the sick, and those with special needs, in addition to other relief works, such as home improvement and assuring a dignified life for those groups.
Al-Sadi also thanked the Society’s staff for their efforts in providing care for the beneficiaries of their activities and for bringing them joy and pleasure.
