PIB Wins the Best Bank Award for the Year 2019

Palestine Islamic Bank was won the award of “Best Islamic Bank in Palestine for the year 2019” by the EMEA FINANCE Magazine specialized in finance.

Board Director Member Mr. Salah Al-Daghma, received the award during a ceremony held in Dubai in the presence of tens of bank and financial institutions’ directors.

For his part, PIB General Manager, Bayan Qassem, confirmed that receiving this award for the second year in a row is the result of the Bank’s great efforts to digitize its services and invent advanced financial products that match the requirements of this day; with the aim of providing a distinguished banking experience for its clients which enables them to enjoy banking services at any time or place. Qassem also noted the cooperation and synergy which exits among all ranks of the institution, and emphasized that the Board of Directors is always keen to follow the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, transparency, and good governance.

Qassem further added that: “This award is added to a series of awards that the Bank has received in recent years from international magazines specialized in finance; the most recent of which were the “Most Innovative Digital Bank in Palestine” and the “Best Environmental Friendly Bank” for the year 2019.

It should be noted that Palestine Islamic Bank operates through 45 branches and offices and 85 ATMs, representing the broadest Islamic banking network in Palestine committed to providing banking and modern solutions in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia.

It is noted that the London-based EMEA FINANCE magazine specializes in financial affairs and assessment of banks and financial institutions at the country level in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The magazine assesses the performance of banks and financial institutions based on several criteria including market share, growth, innovation and other factors, under the supervision of competent experts in the area of specialization.
