PIB– The Most Innovative Digital Bank in Palestine for the Year 2019
Palestine Islamic Bank won the Most Innovative Digital Bank Award in Palestine for the year 2019 by the specialized magazine INTERNATIONAL FINANCE – issued in Britain.
General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank, Bayan Qassem, was delighted that the Bank received this award, after it was able to meet a large set of global banking standards; indicating that this award is a confirmation that the Bank is well-placed to digitize its services and create products that suit the needs of its customers and keep pace with todays’ requirements – in line with its strategy to provide developed and innovative Islamic financial solutions.
Qassem indicated that this success would not have been a reality without the customers’ trust in the Bank, and the efforts exerted by the Bank’s family, at various levels, to maintain a high and distinct level of provided banking services and products; including modern financing solutions such as the ‘Facilitation Card’ and educational and health services installment programs, through which the Bank continues to expand its network of educational and health institutions therein. Qassem also added that: “During the coming period, we seek to further develop our services by modernizing the banking system via the agreement signed with TEMENOS International, additionally we seek to issue new cards via the agreement signed with MasterCard.”
Qassem also indicated that the Bank seeks to save its customers time and effort by enhancing its online services such as ‘Islamic Online’ and ‘Islamic Mobile’ services which provide customers with a 24-hour banking service that includes many advantages; including paying bills to various companies, and obtaining distinct exchange rates.
It should be noted that the specialized International Financial Magazine grants awards to distinguished institutions and companies in many fields, including the banking sector, oil and gas, real estate and communications; after conducting thorough studies on the work and achievements of each institution, according to specialty. Whereas said studies are conducted by an assessment team made up of members with expertise in the field of specialization.
