PIB ranked first in the Excellence and Innovation Survey 2022

Palestine Islamic Bank ranked first among Palestine’s Islamic banks in the Excellence and Innovation Survey 2022.

The winners of this annual survey, held annually by “New Idea” for Advertising and Marketing, were announced during a ceremony in Ramallah. The event was attended by representatives of the Governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the Palestine Chamber of Commerce, Palestine Exchange, and the various Unions and Syndicates of the country. PIB was represented by Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, the Bank’s General Manager and Ibrahim Salman, the Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at PIB. The event was also attended by representatives of the winning companies.

Al-Sadi stated that the appreciation of the survey’s participants has motivated the Bank to achieve further excellence and advancement. He noted that the Bank takes pride in obtaining many local and international excellence certificates and awards, including becoming ISO 9001:2015 certified and receiving the “Best bank that provides banking services and products compliant with Islamic law in Palestine for the year 2022” Award, granted by the World Union of Arab Bankers.

Al-Sadi added: “This achievement has been made possible thanks to the adoption of the Bank’s Board of Directors and its committees of the best good governance and institutional excellence practices, the unique efforts of the Bank’s employees in its various branches and directorates, their exceptional loyalty and team spirit, and the supervision of the Sharia Supervisory Board keen on maintaining Sharia compliance in the Bank’s operations.”

Al-Sadi noted that this achievement comes in line with the continuous development of the services and products offered by PIB to the public, whereby many new Islamic finance products were launched simultaneously with digitization through providing various digital channels and products directing customers toward opting for e-payment solutions.

PIB’s mission and vision focus on providing quality and modern Sharia-compliant banking solutions and investing in technology. PIB also has a digital transformation strategy, which led to the launch of pioneering digital services such as the 24-hour digital call center, Islami Online and Islami Mobile services. Such products and services provide a unique package of easy and safe banking services which enhance the digital experience for individual and corporate customers. The bank was recently awarded the 2022 “Best bank for providing Islamic banking services and products in Palestine” award by The Arab Bankers Association and “The Banking Executive” magazine.
