Palestine Islamic Bank supports Al-Israa’ Specialized Hospital in Tulkarem
Within its sustainable social responsibility program, Palestine Islamic Bank has supported Al-Israa’ Specialized Hospital in Tulkarem. The provided support was represented in purchasing special medical supplies for the hospital, which assist in monitoring the health condition of patients.
Palestine Islamic Bank’s Branch Manager in Tulkarem, Ammar Yaseen, visited the hospital, met the hospital’s Executive Manager, Ghassan Qa’dan, and the Medical Director, Ra’ed Farsakh, and discussed the hospital’s needs as well as the progress of work under the difficult health conditions in Palestine, and they also explored avenues for cooperation between both sides.
PIB General Manager Imad Al-Sadi indicated that supporting the health sector by Palestine Islamic Bank is considered as a top priority within its sustainable social responsibility program. He also indicated that the health sector is considered as one of the vital sectors whose development is considered as a basis for achieving sustainable development.
Al-Sadi added: “Palestine Islamic Bank has intensified its support for this sector since the beginning of Coronavirus pandemic spread in 2020. It has also contributed in providing medical equipment and supplies for tens of health centers and hospitals. It has also directly supported the Ministry of Health for the purpose of fostering its efforts to combat this pandemic; based on our belief in Palestine Islamic Bank that it is necessary to combine efforts by all parties to maintain the safety of our people and protect them from this pandemic.
Furthermore, Qa’dan emphasized the necessity of the support provided by Palestine Islamic Bank as well as the role it plays to assist health sectors organizations in different governorates; calling all parties for assisting the health sector in order to raise the quality of service provided for citizens and achieve the highest level of health security in Palestine.
Palestine Islamic Bank dedicates the largest part of its community responsibility program for supporting health and education sectors; as being considered as vital sectors, which represent a significant part of the global objectives for achieving sustainable development, which constitute the general framework of the Bank’s social responsibility policy.
