Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to UNRWA Schools’ Laboratories – East Khan Yunis
Palestine Islamic Bank provided support to UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) schools – east of Khan Yunis, as part of its ongoing efforts to advance the educational process.
The Bank purchased tools for science laboratories of UNRWA schools in the area, with the aim of developing these schools through diversification of the educational means available to teachers; thus facilitating the teaching process in terms of information conveyance and practical application of the curricula thereof.
Manager of the Khan Yunis branch at PIB, Mohammad Al-Tawil visited the school laboratories, accompanied by a delegation from the Bank, where they were received by the science supervisor of the Education Department at UNRWA, Mr. Wajdi Judeh; during which, they reviewed the conditions of the educational institutions of the agency in the region.
Al-Tawil stressed PIB’s keenness to provide support to educational institutions all over the country, with the aim of building an educated generation capable of achieving the aspirations of our Palestinian people.
For his part, Mr. Wajdi Judeh thanked PIB for their support, while simultaneously praising their efforts which are directed towards the education sector, in the various governorates of the country.
Additionally, PIB gives priority towards supporting the educational sector, and allocates a large part of its Social Responsibility Program budget in support thereof; proceeding from their belief that strengthening the education sector is a means to achieving sustainable development.
