Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to a School in Jericho
Palestine Islamic Bank has provided support to the Maskat Secondary Girls School in Jericho as part of its ongoing efforts to support the educational process. The Manager of Jericho Branch at PIB, Salameh Zbeidat, visited and met with the Director of Education in Jericho, Mr. Azmi Balawneh, the Head of the Public Relations Department in the directorate, Mr. Mousa Abu Roumi, and the school principal, Ms. Jawaher Arinat.
During the meeting, they reviewed the situation of educational institutions in Jericho and discussed ways of cooperation between the Bank and the Directorate of Education. During which, Jericho Branch Manager Salama Zbeidat stressed the readiness of the Bank to support the efforts of the Ministry of Education in improving education in Palestine.
The Bank supported the school by installing two air-conditioners therein to help create a suitable learning environment that enables students attain better academic achievements.
For his part, the Director of Education in Jericho, Mr. Azmi Balawneh, thanked PIB for their constant interest in supporting educational institutions and in identifying and following-up on their needs.
PIB allocates the bulk of its Social Responsibility Program budget to support the education and health sectors, with the aim of having a positive and sustainable impact on society.
Furthermore, PIB operates in accordance with the principles of Islamic Sharia, through 45 branches and offices and more than 80 ATMs spread nationwide.
