Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to the Directorate of Education in South Hebron
A delegation from Palestine Islamic Bank visited the Directorate of Education in southern Hebron to provide in-kind support in order to improve the services provided to the public.
The delegation included Nizar Bali, Director of the Southern District and Ismail Amayreh, Manager of Dura Branch; where they were received by Mr. Khaled Abu Sharar, Director General of the Directorate of Education in South Hebron, Mr. Nayef Khalaf, Secretary General of the Teachers Union and the Executive Committee of the Teachers Union.
During the visit, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two institutions in order to promote the educational process and provide a distinctive educational service for students.
This support comes as a part of PIB’s Social Responsibility Program, a large part of which is dedicated to supporting the education sector; whereas the Bank’s contributions in this area includes provision of direct support to schools and educational institutions.
Additionally, PIB provides a financing program intended to support the educational process by providing tuition fees to students and facilitating their repayment in the form of easy and affordable installments commensurate with the income of their families; according to the Forward Lease formula approved by the Bank’s Shari'a Supervisory Board.
