The conference offers many seminars and scientific discussions attended by local and international specialist physicians. It also features an exhibition for drugs and medical equipment with the participation of many medical companies.

Commenting on the Bank’s sponsorship of the conference, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, PIB General Manager, stated that such sponsorship is in line with the importance the Bank attaches to supporting the health sector and achieving the biggest extent of cooperation with the sector’s institutions, namely the Palestinian Doctor’s Union, thus contributing to a health revolution and the provision of health services to citizens at the best possible quality.

Al-Sadi added: “The conference seeks to offer Palestinian physicians the most recent innovations in human medicine, namely in terms of research, studies, equipment, and devices. This will have a positive impact as it will enhance our physicians cognitive and scientific knowledge and develop the medical services offered to citizens. Hence, we take pride in being part of this scientific and medical activity.”

He noted that the Bank’s efforts to support the health sector are not limited to sponsoring medical activities and conferences. In fact, the Bank directly and annually supports many hospitals and health centers across the country, namely through providing them with the needed medical equipment and devices as part of its Sustainable Social Responsibility Program.

Al-Sadi stated that during the conference, PIB provides unique offers to participating physicians on cards and real estate financing, among other Sharia-compliant banking services and products.
