PIB offers electric chairs for people with special needs in partnership with Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate

As part of its sustainable social responsibility program, the Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) offered electric chairs to a number of people with special needs, in partnership with Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.

PIB handed over the electric chairs to their beneficiaries through the Governorate, following a meeting held at the latter’s headquarters in the presence of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governor, Dr. Laila Ghannam, the Assistant General Manager of PIB for Branches, Zayed Shukair, the Central District Manager, Abdullah Musaed, and the Manager of the Masyoun Branch, Walid Al-Hato.

Governor Ghannam thanked PIB for this contribution, noting the role of the private sector and its contributions to society in support of the less fortunate to help them in facing various challenges. She stressed that the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate always seeks to make concerted efforts with all parties in order to support people with special needs.

Commenting on this contribution, the General Manager of PIB, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi said that the bank was working hard to promote cooperation with various parties in support of people with special needs, as part of its annual program for sustainable social responsibility.

Al-Sadi added: "Since the beginning of the year, PIB has supported many institutions that provide care and support to people with special needs to help them continue providing their services, because this plays a major role in allowing people with special needs to face various challenges and be better integrated in their community.

PIB’s mission and vision focus on providing quality and modern Sharia-compliant banking solutions and investing in technology. PIB also has a digital transformation strategy, which led to the launch of pioneering digital services such as the 24-hour digital call center, Islami Online and Islami Mobile services. Such products and services provide a unique package of easy and safe banking services which enhance the digital experience for individual and corporate customers. The bank was recently awarded the 2022 “Best bank for providing Islamic banking services and products in Palestine” award by The Arab Bankers Association and “The Banking Executive” magazine.
