PIB offers its banking services in Sebastia to promote it as a Palestinian tourism and archaeological site

The Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) announced the launch of ATM services in Sebastia as the first bank to launch that service in this town and its surrounding villages. This step seeks to strengthen and stimulate internal tourism in Sebastia, given its historical monuments and important sites.

The General Manager of PIB, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, said that the bank was committed to providing banking services to all citizens wherever they reside, as part of its efforts to promote financial inclusion in Palestine. He added that PIB had recently expanded its ATM network to include more than 90 ATMs in different governorates providing withdrawal and deposit services and allowing clients to check their accounts. These are the most modern ATMs in Palestine, and they provide new services designed specifically for PIB.

Al-Sadi stressed that the development and expansion of the bank’s ATM network is in line with PIB’s digital transformation plans, which allow citizens to access their accounts around the clock through different digital channels, including Islami Online, Islami Mobile, IslamiTalk, the digital call center and the new credit cards World Mastercard and Platinum Mastercard. He indicated that digital services contribute to overcoming the challenges impeding financial inclusion in Palestine. They allow citizens to enjoy banking services anywhere and at any time.

According to Al-Sadi, the provision of banking services by PIB to Sebastia through ATM services in the municipality building is part of the bank’s continuous efforts to promote tourism in the town and support the resilience of its residents. This is part of the bank’s social responsibility program, which recently supported the Sebastia Girls School and organized a volunteering day for PIB’s employees in that town.

It is worth noting that citizens who have accounts with any bank operating in Palestine can enjoy the services provided by PIB’s ATM in Sebastia, through the 194 National Key service.

PIB’s mission and vision focus on providing quality and modern Sharia-compliant banking solutions and investing in technology. PIB also has a digital transformation strategy, which led to the launch of pioneering digital services such as the 24-hour digital call center, Islami Online and Islami Mobile services. Such products and services provide a unique package of easy and safe banking services which enhance the digital experience for individual and corporate customers. The bank was recently awarded the 2021 “Best Islamic Bank” and “Best Digital Bank” trophy by the International Business Magazine.
