The Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) handed the second cash prize of the “Saving22” campaign worth 142,000 Shekels to winner Amir Salah from the Governorate of Jericho.

Young Salah expressed his joy at winning the prize, noting that it came as a great surprise and thanked the bank for its special campaigns, services and prizes.

A reception was organized for the winner at the PIB Jericho branch, in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of Jericho and Al-Aghwar Jihad Abou Al Asal, Jericho Mayor Salem Al-Gharouf, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jericho Tayseer Al-Humaidi and a number of local figures. PIB was represented at the event by its Director General Dr. Imad Al-Sadi and the Branches Deputy General Manager Zayed Shqair.

Dr. Al-Sadi congratulated the young winner and expressed his hope that the prize will help him pursue his studies and open his own business in the future.

Al-Sadi noted that the “Saving22” campaign is part of PIB’s efforts to strengthen the culture of saving among the community since it helps customers save money safely and securely and make profits in a Sharia-compliant manner.

He further stated that “the campaign will include monthly draws for grand prizes and dozens of other cash prizes worth more than 1,400,000 Shekels in order to encourage customers to open new savings accounts or grow their current ones.”

Al-Sadi finally confirmed that PIB is keen on enhancing its customers banking experience by offering new services and products that meet their needs and thanked PIB customers for their trust.

The campaign that is set to continue until the end of 2022 includes 9 draws for grand cash prizes of different values every month (182,000, 122,000, 222,000, 102,000, 152,000, 132,000, 162,000, 112,000 and 142,000 Shekel).

It is worth noting that PIB launched a special campaign at the beginning of March on the occasion of Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day that includes 22 draws for prizes of $500 aimed at women of all ages.

All current and new customers may take part in the campaign by opening a savings account with 100 USD or more or its equivalent in other currencies, knowing that every additional deposit of 200 USD or its equivalent in other currencies grants the customer further chances of winning.

PIB savings accounts allow customers to receive returns calculated based on their average daily balance. Customers may also benefit from all banking services provided by PIB in line with the terms and conditions of each service.
