PIB launches new #Saving22 campaign for savings accounts

With cash prizes worth more than 1,400,000 Shekel

Palestine Islamic Bank launched a new campaign for savings accounts for the year 2022 as part of its efforts to strengthen the culture of saving among the community and to encourage customers to open savings accounts or develop their current accounts by offering special cash prizes worth more than 1,400,000 Shekel.

The campaign is set to continue until the end of 2022 and includes 9 draws for grand cash prizes of different values every month (182,000, 122,000, 222,000, 102,000, 152,000, 132,000, 162,000, 112,000 and 142,000 Shekel) in addition to 3 special draws in March, June and September to win 22 prizes of 500 USD each in every draw. All current and new customers may take part in the campaign by opening a savings account with 100 USD or more or its equivalent in other currencies, knowing that every additional deposit of 200 USD or its equivalent in other currencies grants the customer further chances of winning.

PIB General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Sadi said that “the saving campaign for this year will include draws for grand prizes on a monthly basis and dozens of other cash prizes, in order to encourage citizens to save money as a way to securely preserve their funds and make profits in line with Islamic Sharia rules and principles”.

Al-Sadi added: “After the success and outstanding reactions to our previous saving campaign “Over 100… new prize with each draw” launched in 2021, and in line with our continuous efforts to encourage our customers to save money through our campaigns and prizes, we decided to launch our “Saving22” campaign with its special prizes”.

Al-Sadi noted that PIB’s digital channels will allow customers to take part in the campaign anytime anywhere, as they can open their savings account by calling the digital call center. Customers that already have savings accounts may also transfer funds to such accounts from their other accounts through Islami online and Islami mobile services. Al-Sadi further clarified that “PIB savings accounts allow customers to receive returns calculated based on their average daily balance. Customers may also benefit from all banking services provided by PIB in line with the terms and conditions of each service and may also be the winners of one of the cash prizes as part of the campaign.”

Al-Sadi finally stated: “We shall also work on launching a number of services and products during 2022 especially in e-payment to enhance our customers banking experience”.
