PIB takes part in the Banking Awareness Event "Let's Be Aware" at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie

The Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) participated in the banking awareness event "Let's Be Aware" organized by the "Association of Banks in Palestine" at Palestine Technical University Kadoorie - in Tulkarm.

The event was organized in partnership with the Faculty of Economics and Business and was attended by the Director General of the Association of Banks Bashar Yassin and representatives of various banks operating in Palestine. It included an outreach session for students on main banking services, during which the PIB Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Ibrahim Salman, gave a presentation on electronic banking services. Salman discussed the latest e-banking features provided by the bank and how they allow customers to easily access their accounts and enjoy banking services around the clock.

In an effort to raise banking awareness among students, the event included an exhibition where bank representatives explained various banking services to students, with PIB representatives giving an overview on Islamic financing structures and their terms and conditions.

Also part of the PIB delegation were the Director of the Northern Region, Khitam Abu Eita, and the Director of the Tulkarm Branch, Ammar Yassin.

The Palestine Islamic Bank is keen on raising awareness on Islamic banking as part of its commitment to the community given PIB’s firm belief in its contribution to financial inclusion in Palestine.

The mission and vision of PIB revolve around providing comprehensive high quality and modern banking solutions, following the provisions of the Islamic Sharia laws, and investment within an advanced technological perspective. It also sets a deliberate strategy to proceed with the digital transformation process, which resulted in launching pioneering digital services such as the 24-hour digital contact center, Islami Online, and Islami Mobile, which offer a distinctive package of banking services through an easy and secure environment that enhances the digital experience for its individual and corporate customers. PIB has also recently won "The Best Islamic Bank Award" and " The Best Digital Bank Award" in Palestine for the year 2021, according to International Business Magazine (INTLBM).
