PIB and the Engineers Association Discuss Ways to Enhance Joint Cooperation
Imad al-Sadi, General Manager of the Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB), and Eng. Nadia Habash, Head of the Engineers Association, discussed ways to enhance cooperation to the benefit of the Association and its members and to promote the development process and national economy.
The discussion between the two sides took place at the Engineers Association headquarters-Jerusalem Center, in the presence of PIB’s Assistant General Manager for Planning and Development, Asem al-Masri, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Ibrahim Salman, the Associations Financial Manager, Mohamed Yaghi, and the Head of Public Relations and Media, Samer Odeh.
Al-Sadi congratulated the Head, the Council, and the subcommittees of the Association on their election in the twentieth session of the Association, wishing them every success in achieving their aspirations.
During the meeting, al-Sadi stressed the Bank’s desire to increase cooperation with the Engineers Association and its frameworks, which leads to integration between both sides for the sake of achieving sustainable development, uplifting the status of our people and country, and creating an environment conducive to excellence, creativity, and innovation.
Al-Sadi also praised the Association’s leading role in the building process and economic development at the national level as well as its ambitious capacity-building strategy for its members, improving the quality services provided to them, and its efforts to promote the scientific and practical career of engineering.
On her part, Eng. Nadia Habash welcomed the attendees and thanked them for congratulating the elected Association Council, emphasizing the depth of the close relationship between the Association and the Bank over the past several years during successive councils, which will help the current Council in building fruitful cooperation. She also expressed the Association’s sincere interest in establishing and strengthening a partnership with the Bank.
Eng. Habash made a quick presentation of the Association’s most important plans and future programs, as well as the Association’s vision towards banks and partner institutions in the same field.
