Palestine Islamic Bank participates in “#We Will Beautify It” campaign for the removal of debris from Beit Lahia streets
As a part of its national duty, Palestine Islamic Bank participated in the community campaign “#We Will Beautify It” which aims to remove debris caused by the war from Beit Lahia streets.
The Bank staff, led by Gaza Strip Director, Adnan Al-Fleet and managers of branches and offices, as well as other several people volunteering in the campaign which is supervised by Beit Lahia Municipality, in partnership with civil society organizations and youth groups.
PIB General Manager Imad Al-Sadi indicated that the Bank and its staff are proud of participating with our people in these campaigns, which aim to revive our cities, towns and their vital facilities; as they are considered as the starting point for the reconstruction process.
Al-Sadi also added: “the Bank has strived for effectively participating in this initiative and providing all the necessary requirements for its success; as it believes in the role it plays in this respect, and it will utilize all its potentials for assisting our people as they deserve better life and future”.
Al-Sadi also emphasized that the Bank attaches particular importance for supporting people in Gaza Strip under its sustainable social responsibility program, and it allocates a significant part of its projects for supporting them; particularly in the fields of health, education, sustainable development and relief. The most recent project was the project of establishing 12 water plants which now contribute in providing safe drinking water for tens of thousands of citizens.
Palestine Islamic Bank’s sustainable social responsibility policy emphasizes the necessity of its contribution in the development process and playing an effective role in serving the community and the relief of our people, as well as improving their living conditions and enhancing their steadfastness under the difficult conditions they suffer from; in harmony with contribution in achieving the global objectives of sustainable development.
