PIB Launches the First 24x7 Digital Contact Center in Palestine

Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) has launched the first digital contact center in Palestine operating 24x7. The launch came as part of the bank’s digital transformation strategy that aims at providing customers with easy access to banking services at anytime and anywhere, without the need to visit PIB branches.

The Digital Contact Center provides PIB clients with a wide array of banking services including cards services, account management, cheques, money transfer and financing services. This service provides clients with instant responses to their inquiries through their preferred digital channels, which include WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, PIB’s website, email, or speaking with a customer service agent over the phone.

Establishing the center is a paradigm shift in how PIB customers can access their accounts and request various banking services. It operates using up-to-date digital channels that meet today’s needs and are preferred by the public. A dedicated and qualified team is available to deliver the best possible service around the clock, to provide a distinctive banking experience and exceed customers’ expectations.

The importance of the digital services provided by the new center is timely given the current Covid-19 health conditions, which necessitate physical distancing and the avoidance of crowds. PIB’s Digital Contact Center is the latest in a series of quality online services provided by the bank through Islami Online and Islami Mobile services that enable customers to manage their accounts and cards, perform local and international remittances and pay bills, while enjoying preferential currency exchange rates.

PIB’s digital transformation strategy is enhancing the level of financial inclusion in Palestine by facilitating citizens' access to banking services and is in line with PIB’s position as the leading bank providing Islamic financial services through state-of-the-art technology.

PIB conducts its business in accordance with Islamic Sharia through the largest Islamic banking network in Palestine consisting of 45 branches and offices and a network of over 80 ATMs.
