Palestine Islamic Bank Supports the Village Council of Murda in Salfit.

Palestine Islamic Bank has provided support to Murda Village Council in the governorate of Salfit, as part of its continuous support to local institutions to help these institutions to improve the services provided to citizens.

The Bank Manager in Salfit branch, Mr. Shawqi Abu-Bakr, has visited the village council and met its director Dr. Munif Al-Khufash and number of the council members, where they discussed the council’s action plans to enhance its services and to develop the village infrastructure.

Abu-Bakr emphasizes the importance of establishing partnership between the public and private sector to move forward in the process of development and construction, commending the work of the council and its endeavors despite the limited resources.

Dr. Munif Al-Khufash indicated that the support provided by the bank to the different society institutions, particularly to the local institutions, has significantly contributed to the achievement of sustainable development, since it’s primarily directed toward the aspects of positive and sustainable effect on society.

The Bank operates since 1997 in line with the principles and rules of the Islamic Sharia, and seeks to meet the financial needs of all the local society segments in implementation of gain-sharing principle.
