250,000 Shekels …. PIB Awards the Grand Prize within “Kareem” Campaign

Palestine Islamic Bank celebrated the winner of “Kareem” campaign’s grand prize (250 thousand shekels), Mohammed Abu Sa'da from northern Gaza.

The ceremony was held at the Bank’s Office in Beit Lahia in the presence of PIB General Manager, Bayan Qasem, Deputy General Manager Imad Al-Saadi, Gaza Area Director Adnan Al-Fleet and a number of branch managers, along with a group of legal persons, businessmen and citizens.

Qasem congratulated Abu Sa'ada and his family on winning the grand prize for savings accounts, stressing that the savings campaign seeks to consolidate the saving habit among all segments of society in line with the policy of financial inclusion in Palestine.

Qasem noted that Kareem’s promotion campaign rewards and encourages savers through valuable instant gifts that are given to them once they open a new account or recharge an existing account. Savers are also granted discount coupons at major national companies and are given the chance to win the grand prize of 250,000 shekel; which is drawn every two months, noting that the campaign is approved by the Bank’s Shariah Supervisory Board.

Furthermore, Qasem pointed out that PIB works through its programs and products to raise awareness on Islamic banking and also strives to clarify the advantages of financial banking transactions in accordance with the principles of Islamic law. Additionally, PIB seeks to provide modern financial solutions that meet the needs of the public and keep pace with all that is current.

Moreover, Qasem said that PIB is moving rapidly towards digitizing its banking operations, noting that the Bank is modernizing and developing its systems in order to provide a decent service to the public by facilitating access to many electronic services via the Internet, mobile and social networks such as “Islamic Online”, “Islamic Mobile” and “Islamic Auto”.

For his part, Talat Abu Sa’da, the father of the winning child expressed his great happiness for winning the grand prize for savings accounts, saying, “I will allocate the money for the education of Mohammed and his sister”. He also praised PIB and its staff for their hard work.
