Palestine Islamic Bank and the Italian Fertility Center Sign an Agreement for Payment of Medical Services in Installments
Palestine Islamic Bank and the Italian Fertility Center signed an agreement for payment of medical services in installments within the “Forward Lease” formula.
The Forward Lease Formula authorized by the Bank’s Shari'a Supervisory Board enables the Bank’s clients to receive medical services, provided by the Italian Fertility Center, at the same price without any increase, with the possibility of payment in installments up to one year in the form of easy installments commensurate with the family income.
The agreement was concluded at the center’s headquarters in Hebron, where it was signed by Nizar Bali, the Director of the Southern District, and on behalf of the Italian Fertility Center, Board Member Mr. Bahaa Sinokrot; in the presence of Abdul-Ghani Arar, Manager of Ras Al-Joura branch at PIB and Dr. Omar Halaiqa, Director General and Board Member of the Italian Fertility Center.
Moreover, PIB is working on activating multiple financing and investment formulas that meet the needs of the community; whereas, during the previous year, the Bank has launched a program for the installment of educational fees and the installment of health services, in order to facilitate the access of citizens to educational and health services.
PIB has been providing Shariah-compliant banking services since 1997 and is supervised by a Shari'a Supervisory Board comprised of a group of scholars with expertise in Islamic economics and banking.
