Palestine Islamic Bank Donates to Jasmine Charitable Society

A delegation from Palestine Islamic Bank visited Jasmine Charitable Society – Ramallah, in order to deliver monetary support aimed at helping the society carry out its various activities.

Whereas, the delegation had included PIB Manager of the Central District, Raik Omar, and Manager of Al-Bireh branch, Saad Al-Din Al-Saadi, who were received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Omar Mohammed Amin.

“Paying special care and attention to people with special needs is one of the Bank's priorities” said Bayan Qasem, PIB General Manager. Accordingly, he pointed out the Bank's initiatives, aimed at assisting this segment of people, through the introduction of sign language to banking transactions, and the provision of withdrawal and deposit vouchers in Braille in some of the Bank’s branches. In addition to adapting the entrances of all the Bank’s branches to suit their needs.

Moreover, Qassem stressed that the Bank's social responsibility program focuses specifically on the health and education sectors in order to achieve sustainable development within the Palestinian society.

For his part, Mr. Omar Amin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, extended his appreciation to the delegation and stressed the importance of the role of Palestinian banks in supporting charitable work.
