Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to Deir Al - Balah Municipality Library
Palestine Islamic Bank has provided Deir Al-Balah Municipality Library the support needed to purchase PC’s and printers in order to further develop the work of the library.
Whereas, Director of Gaza District Adnan Al-Falit and Ayed Abu Ramadan Administrative Affairs Department Director had presented the donation while visiting the Municipality, where they were received by Mr. Saeed Nassar, Mayor of Deir El Balah and Mr. Bashir Qufa, member of the municipal council, in addition to a number of municipal employees.
For his part, PIB General Manager Bayan Qasem, stressed the Bank’s interest in supporting institutions and providing them with the help needed for providing the best service to citizens; noting that the Bank’s social responsibility program works to meet the needs of the community in the hopes of reflecting a positive and sustainable impact thereon.
Qasem added that the Bank is keen on providing assistance to the community and is also interested in providing sophisticated financial services in accordance with the principles of Islamic Shari’a; observing that the Bank has a strategic plan in terms of social responsibility, which is aimed at the constant growth of the society, with a special focus on vital sectors.
On a final note, Mr. Saeed Nassar Mayor of Deir Al-Balah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to PIB for their donation, while calling for further cooperation and praising the Bank's performance and collaboration with the Municipality.
