“Palestine Islamic Bank” Donates to the Red Crescent in Nablus
As part of its social responsibility, Palestine Islamic Bank provided cash contributions to Palestine Red Crescent Society- Nablus Branch.
This occurred during a visit conducted by a delegation of Palestine Islamic Bank, which included the Director of Northern District, Mrs. Khitam Abu Atiyah and the Manger of Al-Muntazah Branch, Mr. Bashar Al Shareef, to the Red Crescent Society. During such visit, they met with the Head of the Society’s Administrative Board, Mr. Helal Tufaha, the Secretary of Fund, Mr. Emad Al-Lahham, the General Manager, Mr. Khaled Nasser and the Manager of Financial Department, Mrs. Lubna Farhoud. The visit aimed at discussing aspects of joint cooperation between the Bank and the Society, and donating an amount of money as a support to the Society during the holy month of Ramadan.
The General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank, Mr. Bayan Qasem, stated: “a large part of our social responsibility is devoted towards supporting health and education sectors, as we strongly believe in their significance in building strong humans” considering the concern about people with disabilities and providing them with a better life as a national and moral duty towards this important segment of society.
Moreover, Qasem paid tribute to Palestine Red Crescent Society- Nablus Branch, and its administrative and medical staff, stressing the solid relationship between both institutions.
On his part, the Head of the Administrative Board, Mr. Helal Tufaha, thanked the management of Palestine Islamic Bank for its role in providing help to children with disabilities through their generous donation to the Society, calling upon local and community institutions to play their role in supporting the country’s individuals and institutions.
