- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- At least (3) years of experience.
- Proper legal drafting knowledge.
- Permit to practice the legal profession from the Palestinian Bar Association.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to legal affairs.
- Review all documents used in the Bank’s activities to ensure compliance with laws, instructions and policies and make recommendations for their development thereof.
- Assist in the development of the Bank’s policies and procedures, and review them from a legal perspective.
- Provide advice and assistance in the drafting of all decisions, regulations and contracts that may have a legal aspect. Pursue cases filed by the Bank and against the Bank in the courts, as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
- Review financing contracts, Murabha, Attorney certificate and documents that is issued by Shari'a court, as well as all other related documents thereof.
- Draft and regulate contracts to be concluded with the Bank.
- Follow up on the defaulters and send them notifications in coordination with the bad debts Section.
- Prepare periodic reports on legal affairs and other functions of the Department and submit them to the manager of Legal Affairs Department.
- Carry out any other tasks related as directed.
Skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, managerial and supervisory skills, and the ability to make decisions.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to work within a team, and have the required initiative and self-assurance.
