Job Details
Participate in setting policies and procedures related to the development, application and support of banking systems.Job Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant field.
- At least (8) years of experience working in management of banking systems, and a minimum of 3 years working with the Bank System, and Card and ATM management systems.
- 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Applicants with experience in Islamic banking are preferable.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in Oracle database management and knowledge of SQL.
- Applicants with work experience in T24 banking system are preferable.
- Applicants holding certificates in the field of information technology and databases such as OCP and others are preferable.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in setting the budget of the Banking Systems Department.
- Study the various work systems and procedures within the Bank, identify their needs and ensure that these systems are taken into account when developing and implementing the programs used in the Bank.
- Monitor and study system support issues; develop plans to solve problems drastically, and develop systems.
- Follow up on new or updated versions of computerized programs and systems to ensure that all banking systems within the Bank carry the latest versions while being under the technical support of the provider.
- Handle the daily closing of transactions on the main Bank system and ensure that there are no problems thereof.
- Recommend any additional applications intended to improve the performance of the Bank’s banking systems, through the experience gained in following up on technical support complaints received from the Bank’s departments and branches.
- Assist the Product Development Department staff in studying and analyzing the Bank’s needs for new systems intended to improve the provided service or provide a new service thereof.
- Monitor the process of checking new releases or new systems through direct examination or follow-up with the relevant authorities.
- Carry out any other tasks as requested by the direct supervisor.
Skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, managerial and supervisory skills, and the ability to make decisions.
- Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing, Reading).
- Ability to work within a team, and have the required initiative and self-assurance.
