Banking Systems Support Officer
Job Details
Manage the banking system and the supporting systems and ensure that they are operating properly, make the precautionary tests and tackle any problems in a fast manner, and provide technical support to the users of these systems.Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, as a minimum, in Computer Engineering or any other relevant field.
- At least 3 years’ of practical experience in banking systems management.
- Applicants holding certificates in the field of Information Technology and databases are preferable.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the banking system and the supporting systems and ensure that they are operating properly, make the precautionary tests and tackle any problems in a fast manner, and provide technical support to the users of these systems.
- Coordinate with the company which provides the banking system and the supporting systems to tackle any problems.
- Test and apply the updates of the banking system and the supporting systems.
- Manage databases, test the backups of data and ensure their validity and document the results.
- Prepare the reports requested from the bank’s administration, departments and branches
- Carry out any tasks assigned to him/her by the direct supervisor
Skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, managerial and supervisory skills, and the ability to make decisions.
- Proficiency of English language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to work within a team, take initiatives and self-assurance.
