Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to Inash Al Usra Association
Palestine Islamic Bank has provided support to the Inash Al Usra Association in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate as part of its sustainable corporate social responsibility program.
Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, General Manager of PIB, visited the Association’s headquarters, where he met with its Chairwoman, Ms. Reem Masrouji, and was briefed by her on the Association’s most important activities and community contributions.
During the meeting, Al-Sadi reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to its role in sustainable corporate social responsibility, supporting various sectors, and creating positive and lasting impact. He stressed the importance of cooperation between the private sector and civil society organizations in order to build a sustainable strategic partnership aimed at strengthening community resilience and creating opportunities for growth during difficult times.
Al-Sadi commended the efforts made by Inash Al Usra Association in promoting families’ resilience and empowering them economically and socially, while also emphasizing the strength of the cooperative relationship between the Bank and the Association and its role in serving the community.
For her part, Ms. Reem Masrouji expressed her appreciation for the support provided by the Bank and for the strategic relationship between the two sides. She also expressed her satisfaction with this strategic partnership, which directly serves the Palestinian community.
She added: “We look forward to important and ambitious future cooperation and partnerships that will further reinforce support for families’ resilience and empower them economically and socially.”
The meeting was attended by Sawsan Al-Amour, Secretary of the Association; Rawiya Shaarawi, Director General of the Association; and Eline Ziyada, Public Relations Officer. Representing the Bank were Rami Taha, Assistant General Manager for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Mohammad Murar, Director and Public Relations Officer.
PIB’s sustainable corporate social responsibility policy emphasizes the importance of its contribution to the development process and its active role in serving the community, providing relief to the Palestinian people, improving their living conditions, and strengthening their resilience in light of the difficult circumstances they face, in a manner consistent with the global Sustainable Development Goals.
