Mr. Masri holds a BA and MA in economics from the American University of Beirut. He has worked as an economist in Lebanon, the UK, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Palestine. In 1996, he was elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council (Parliament) and later served as minister of national economy until 2005. As a minister, he chaired the Palestinian Investment Promotion Agency (PIPA), Palestine Standards Institution (PSI) and Palestinian Industrial Estates and Free Zone Authority (PIEFZA). He was the Chairman of Palestine Capital Markets Authority, and the Palestine Exchange (PEX). Presently, he is the chairman of the Associations of Banks in Palestine, and a board member of the Palestine Investment Fund. Also he is a member of the Board of Trustees at Birzeit University, and Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS).
Mr. Talal Nasereddin holds a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the American University of Beirut in 1974. Mr. Talal Nasser Al-Din serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Birzeit Pharmaceuticals, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PalOx Natural Gases, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abraj Real Estate Investments, Petropal Mineral Oils, and Lotus Financial Investments, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Bank of Palestine, in addition to being a board member of both the Palestinian Telecommunications Group and the Palestinian Electricity Company.
Omar Muneeb Masri is the Chief Executive Officer of Edgo, a leading regional oil and gas group. Before joining Edgo, he founded Atlas Investment Group in 1996 as Jordan’s first independent financial and investment services firm. He was also the first person in Jordan to obtain licenses from the Jordan Securities Commission as a certified financial adviser, broker, and investment manager. In 2004, Atlas Investment Group was acquired by Arab Bank Group to become its investment banking arm under the name Al Arabi Invest, and Masri was appointed as the bank’s first Head of Global Investment Banking. He also represented the bank on a number of boards, including the Arab National Bank in Saudi Arabia. Prior to founding Atlas, he served as an investment fund manager at Foreign & Colonial Emerging Markets in London, where he managed the first regional Middle East investment fund listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Mr. Alaa Sissalem holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University, Egypt. He is the CEO of Vitas International, which operates in Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Romania, and other countries. He has over 35 years of experience in financial management, finance, and operations management. He played a pivotal role in leading the Vitas Group's operations and in establishing and managing Vitas Palestine Finance, where he served as CEO. He also contributed to the development of credit management information systems through his work as an international consultant for CHF International. He has held numerous leadership positions, was elected Chairman of the Palestinian Association of Lending Institutions in 2017, and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Bank of Palestine since 2021.
Mr. Al Daghma holds a BA in literature from Beirut Arab University. He has held many leading positions with companies, including Head of Tenders and Procurement in the Abu Dhabi Government for 20 years. He also served as a senior staff member with Sheikh Zayed. He has various investments and participates actively in local, regional and international forums and conferences, in addition to owning Dadco Export-Import in Germany
Mr. Abu-Khaizaran holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the American University of Sharjah and a master’s degree in Finance from IE Business School in Madrid. He is a financial analyst currently overseeing the investment portfolio of Rawzan Medical Center for Fertility Treatment. He also serves as a board member of the Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) and Arab Hospitals Group, reflecting leadership across diverse sectors. He began his career in financial audit at Ernst & Young, where he developed a strong understanding of financial systems and controls. He has continued to strengthen his academic and professional qualifications, becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2021. He also holds a number of distinguished credentials, including Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Financial Data Professional (FDP), and the Certificate in ESG Investing. This distinguished track record reflects his expertise in risk management, data-driven financial analysis, and sustainable investment practices, confirming his position as a dynamic leader in the financial field.
He holds a master's degree in civil engineering from Manhattan University, New York. He was previously elected to the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Housing Council and previously served on the Board of Directors of Takaful Insurance Company. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Arab American University, Tamkeen Insurance Company, and the Orphan Funds Care Foundation. He served as General Manager of Lada Contracting Company in Saudi Arabia and currently serves as General Manager and Owner of Midmac General Contracting since 1999.
He holds a PhD in Law from Abdelmalek Saadi University in Morocco. Between 1996 and 1999, he was a Legal Adviser at the State Audit and Administrative Control Bureau and served as Assistant Undersecretary in the Palestine Pension Authority from 1999 until 2013. He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Orphans Fund Management and Development Foundation and a member of many boards of directors is local institutions.
He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from An-Najah National University in 1994, and an MBA from An-Najah National University in 2001. He worked in the banking sector for 28 years (16 years in Palestine and 12 in the United Arab Emirates) with a number of banks in Palestine including the Arab Bank, Cairo Amman Bank, and Arab Bank in the UAE. During the last 17 years, his work focused on business development and credit. He is a member of the finance, facilities and asset management committees. He served as Senior Vice President, Head of the Department of Corporate banking and financial institutions in Palestine (2017-2022) at Arab Bank Palestine, and Senior Director of Corporate and Financial Institution Banking at Arab Bank in Abu Dhabi from 2005 to 2017. He took part in a large number of courses, conferences and scientific programs on banking and economic business in Palestine and other Arab and European countries.
Dr. Sultan holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, he is currently associate professor and director of the Master's Program in Supply Chain Management at Birzeit University and Head of Business Administration and Marketing Department. He is a member of the general assembly of the Palestinian Investment Fund. Dr. Sultan also works as a consultant with several international institutions in the areas of strategic planning and governance.
Mr. Al Abwah holds a BA degree in accounting from Birzeit University, and an MA degree in accountancy from George Washington University, Washington DC. Currently, he is the chief audit executive at the Palestine Investment Fund, in charge of the internal audit and risk management functions. He has over 20 years of experience in auditing and management consultancy services with leading international accounting firms, both locally and internationally. Mr. Al Abwah is a US Certified Public Accountant "CPA", a Canadian Chartered Accountant "CA", a Certified Internal Auditor "CIA", and a Certified Information System Auditor "CISA".

Dr. Imad Al-Sadi holds a PhD in Islamic Economics from IZU University in Türkiye. He joined the banking sector in 1993 and progressed through several senior leadership positions before taking on the role of General Manager in 2020. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Takaful Insurance Company, representing the Bank, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Institution for the Management and Development of Orphans’ Funds In 2020, he became a member of the CIBAFI Sustainability Working Group. He is also a contributing researcher at numerous Islamic banking conferences locally and internationally and has made many academic contributions in the field. He has academic and training expertise in developing banking professionals and is an accredited arbitrator with the Palestinian Ministry of Justice in banking and financial disputes
Holding MA degree in Economics from Birzeit University and BA degree in Mathematical Economic from same UniversityMr.Erainat has started his career life at banking sector in 2000,as he held several managerial positions including but not limited to corporate credit operation manager,corporate credit monitoring manager,financial services manager, deputy of operations head. Holding a Bachelor of Accounting from the Arab American University, Rami is a member of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and various international, Arab, and local certified accountants’ associations. He has more than 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and consulting in banking, financial institutions, asset management, insurance, and communications. He is also a board member of Al Takaful Insurance where he serves as the Bank’s representative, and a member of the Ijara Auditing Committee. Before joining Palestine Islamic Bank, he held the position of Executive Manager at Ernst & Young. He is currently the Assistant General Manager for Financial and Administrative Affairs.
Mr. Shqair Holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Najah National University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Bizet University. He joined the Islamic banking sector in 2000 and worked as PIB’s Nablus Bank Manager until 2013. He was the Central Operation’s Department Manager until 2020, and then he was appointed as Director of Middle District branches. He currently holds the position of Assistant General Manager for branches. Shqair has worked as a lecturer at Al-Quds Open University for 10 years. Additionally, he is a licensed arbitrator in financial and banking disputes; holding an arbitration license issued by the Ministry of Labor.

Holder of a bachelor's degree in business administration from An-Najah National University in 1997, he began his career in the banking sector in 1997 at the Arab Bank in Palestine. He progressed in administrative positions until reaching the position of branch manager before joining the PIB family in 2017 where he worked as a branch manager for Qalqilya, and has extensive and diverse experience in various aspects of banking. He is currently the manager of the Northern Area at PIB.
Mr. Al Hreimi holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hebron University, obtained in 2003. Al Hreimi worked in the United Arab Emirates as an Accounts Manager at Al Huda Trading and Decoration Company and Factory. He also worked in sales in the telecommunications and medical devices sectors before joining the Palestinian banking sector in 2005, when he became part of the Palestine Islamic Bank family. He has completed numerous training courses and obtained several certificates in various aspects of banking. He currently serves as Manager of the South Region at the bank.

Because human capital is the true capital of any institution that seeks excellence and leadership in its field, Palestine Islamic Bank gives special attention to this element and considers it one of its most important strategic priorities. The Bank has therefore focused on retaining its workforce and attracting, training, and qualifying talent across various fields, in addition to attracting young people, who constitute the foundation for institutional growth and development.
The Bank has also worked to provide an enabling work environment in which employees can unleash their creative potential in support of its core objectives, strategic values, and plans for development, expansion, and outreach. It has also sought to establish competitive frameworks that support their growth within the institutional setting and create a balance between their aspirations and the tasks they perform, while safeguarding their rights and providing various benefits granted to employees on the basis of their annual performance evaluation.
As part of its commitment to developing employees’ skills and improving the effectiveness of their performance, the Bank provided them with the necessary training in their respective areas of work, whether internally or externally, across dozens of topics related to Islamic banking, Sharia governance, future leadership development, the empowerment of promising female employees, onboarding of new employees, and the strengthening of managerial skills. Training also covered digital transformation awareness, cybersecurity, environmental and social governance, customer experience management, financial data analysis, public speaking, etiquette in dealing with persons with disabilities, transfers, treasury, insurance, risk management, compliance, audit, quality, anti-money laundering, and other purposeful programs. A total of 2,395 employee participations were recorded in these training programs.
The bank provides equal employment opportunities for male and female applicants. During the year 2025, the number of female employees in the bank reached 188 out of 619 employees, a percentage exceeding 30%. Some of them work in leadership positions and are decision-makers, while others supervise the most important and largest programs and projects in the bank.
As part of its commitment to developing employee skills and enhancing performance, the bank provided them with necessary training in their respective fields, both internally and externally, covering dozens of topics related to Islamic banking and Sharia governance, preparing future leaders, empowering promising female employees, onboarding new staff, and strengthening managerial skills. In addition, the bank offered awareness programs on digital transformation, cybersecurity, environmental and social governance, customer experience management, financial data analysis, public speaking, etiquette for interacting with people with disabilities, money transfers, treasury operations, insurance, risk management, compliance, auditing, quality control, anti-money laundering, and other relevant programs. A total of 2,395 bank employees participated in these training programs.
In line with the Bank’s objective of preparing future leaders, the LEADERS Program focused on building the capacities of 61 male and female employees on 23 training topics, most notably strategic management, customer experience management, digital transformation, cybersecurity, communication skills, and governance, in addition to other important subjects. These sessions were delivered by a group of internal trainers, including members of the Board of Directors, executive management, and department heads, as well as a distinguished group of external trainers.
The training sessions were held between 01/05/2025 and 25/10/2025, totaling 180 training hours. All participants also successfully passed the Certified Islamic Banker (CIB) examination.

As part of the Bank’s efforts to strengthen female employees’ skills and their ability to assume important managerial positions in the future, and in line with the Arab Banks Union’s initiative to establish the Arab Women Empowerment Committee, as well as in reinforcement of environmental and social governance principles, the Bank launched the Promising Female Employees Empowerment Program.
The program aims to develop the Bank’s female employees and empower them strategically, managerially, professionally, and personally to take on future leadership roles in the workplace and strengthen their role in decision-making. It covered training topics such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, leadership skills, Islamic banking, thinking skills, legal empowerment, and other important subjects. These training sessions were delivered between 02/09/2025 and 28/10/2025, totaling 90 training hours. All participants also successfully passed the Certified Islamic Banker (CIB) examination.

Seventy-seven employees earned 86 accredited professional certifications during 2025 under the supervision of the Human Capital Department, bringing the total number of accredited professional certifications held by the bank's staff to 245.

As part of the Bank’s commitment to its social role and its keenness to invest in the youth, the Bank launched the Waed Training Program in 2025 in partnership with the Faculty of Business and Communication at An-Najah National University, with the aim of training and empowering 33 students and enhancing their professional readiness for the banking labor market. The program included 10 intensive training sessions covering numerous topics that contribute to developing the participating students’ skills and preparing them for the banking labor market, while placing special emphasis on the concepts and applications of Islamic banking. Students received both practical and theoretical training covering the banking work environment, mechanisms for delivering banking services, communication skills, cybersecurity, compliance, marketing and sales skills, and the importance of human capital, in addition to familiarization with financial products compliant with Islamic Sharia.
During 2025, 77 employees obtained 86 accredited certificates under the supervision of the Human Capital Department, bringing the total number of professional certificates held by the Bank’s workforce to 245 accredited certificates.
It is worth noting that the Bank provides support to university students in various ways to help them meet their graduation requirements while also strengthening their practical capabilities alongside their academic achievements. In this context, the Bank visited many universities and trained students, while it also trained other groups at the Bank’s premises. PIB also supported a large number of postgraduate and undergraduate students in their research and graduation projects during 2025.
